Bleeding during sex,what's going on?

I had a laparoscopy 18 months ago and they found a small bit of endometriosis on my womb.
They didn't remove it and said it was only a small amount.
My smear was normal.
When I have sex I bleed, also the right part of my vagina if I touch it I get a sharp pain.
Certain times of the month it feels like I need to urinate constantly.(this has gone on years,I'm convinced it's due to Endo)
I sometimes have a burning tingly feeling in my bum too.
Do you think it could be the endo ?
I can't get a doctors apt for love nor money
This has been going on two years now
I think it's endo related

Bizarre that you can’t get an appointment. I’d say this definitely should be looked at and I’m not sure Mumsnet is the best place to get detailed advice on your medical issue. But maybe someone can share tips on getting seen!

I’d personally try my GP first. If no luck there, I’d go through friends to get a gynaecologist referral directly, but I’m Canada where you’re able to do that. I sense that in the UK GPs play a bit of a gatekeeper role, but maybe I’ve got the wrong impression. To be honest, I’d even be tempted to find a gynaecologist in my area online if my GP or friends couldn’t make recommendations, and just call a couple of offices to try to explain.

Pain and bleeding shouldn’t be ignored.

Good luck!

An ultrasound scan will not detect endo if it is present and s smear is not relevant for endometriosis detection either.

Deep pain during sex can be indicative of endometriosis being present.
They’ve already found endometriosis and sadly it was not removed.
The rectal pain could well be due to endometriosis also. It can also cause bowel and bladder involvement, it can certainly affect the bladder.

You need medical attention from a gynaecologist, what’s been happening re being unable to get an appointment?

I have mild endo (burned away during a laparoscopy) as well as pcos. I started to have bleeding after sex a few years ago. I had an ultrasound done, blood tests and my smear which all came back normal. The gp told me to just keep a record and come back if the problem persisted. After six months I went back and then they finally decided to do an internal and take swabs. I was then referred on the 2 week pathway to gynaecology. I was diagnosed with a cervical ectropian which was in an unusual spot hence why they hadn’t seen it when having my smear. The dr applied silver nitrate and it was all fixed.

Fast forward 2 years and I was having after sex bleeding again. Presuming it was another ectropian I was referred again but this time there was no ectropian. The dr decided the bleeding was due to my womb not expelling all the lining at the end of each period, so when we dtd it kind of wobbled the left over blood out iyswim. I’ve now been given the coil to try and sort it out. Plus the dr thought I may be peri menopausal as I’m 43 which may be affecting my cycle. Not once in all these times was my endo considered as a reason for the bleeding. Please go back to your gp armed with a calendar marked with all the times you have bled to show that it needs further investigation.
