Is this anything to worry about? Dry raised patches on breast

A few days ago I noticed pink slightly raised patch of dry skin on my breast. Its about the size of a 20p. Then this morning there is another smaller one on the same breast but near the nipple. Is this anything to be concerned about? I dont like going to the GP as I always think I'm wasting their time.

It doesn't look too bad in the picture but it is more red than pink. And when i run finger across it does have a different texture

Could it be this?

I am very pale and I have had it appear as pink areas. Treated with OTC dandruff shampoo.
I had it on my breasts and between them.

@Fefifoefum I dont think that's what it is but thanks for the link.

I had similar recently. Started with a small patch, spread and looked scaly, was it hy. GP said psoriasis. Prescribed Enstilar and it's nearly gone now.

Try an antihistamine. Won't do you any harm and might help. I'd imagine it's eczema or an allergic rash

Defo check with your gp. I get something that looks like that, in small patches on my breasts and stomach. It is psoriasis, I get it when I'm very stressed.

Fungal infection maybe?

CtrlU · 15/11/2020 02:25

Looks like a fungal infection or a mild ringworm possibly?

Bbboobs · 15/11/2020 10:26

If its it's a fungal infection thr hell did I get it on my boob? Can i just get something over the counter from the chemist?

Causes could be not washing bra’s and/ or bath towels enough or not effectively so bacteria multiplies and can cause this.

You can usually get a cream from the chemist and over the counter. Can’t remember the name though but it’s common so the pharmacist should know what ointment you need

Actually I think pP have nailed it with fungal. My DS had a patch exactly like this on his leg. He was prescribed canasten cream (a slightly different type to nomal thrush stuff as he was only 6 months old)
