Speaking to the GP about my cycle

I think I need to speak to the GP about my mensural cycle.

3-4 days before my period I get blinding range, not PMT actual unreasonable anger that makes me lash out.

During my period I'm exhausted and depressed.

I get bad period pain.

I don't get on with hormonal contraception, it makes me angry and depressed and I don't want to try it.

I'm done having children.

I want to speak to my GP but I want to suggest a solution and not get brushed off but I don't know what to suggest.

Help.

For PMT issues GP usually prescribe hormonal pills which you don't want , so anti anxiety/ Anti depression pills are alternative or you can try Angus castus/ st john worts as herbal remedies but a GP will not prescribe those as their efficacy is not proven.
Period pain is entirely different matter , how bad do you have it. Do you have to take a lot of painkillers, do you avoid going out? Is it affecting your quality of life? Is it accompanied by heavy periods?
A lot depends on the answer of these questions. Don't listen to Google saying period pain is normal for some and some women naturally have heavy periods. Your periods can be a nuisance but if it is affecting your day to day activity ( like you are avoiding going out because of your periods) then you should discuss that with your GP.
A GP might order blood test and/or a scan to see what's causing the pain and may refer you to Gynaecologist - depending on how severe your pain is.
Sometimes it is just vitamin/iron/mineral deficiency. The deficiency also affects your mood.
Also let your gp know if you have noticed any change in your cycle over the last few months.

This was exactly me and I got diagnosed with PMDD and referred to a gynaecologist. Keep on at your gp, it took me over five years to be taken seriously
