Hi can anyone offer advice pls I’m at wits ends last year in may I had a surgical d&c because I had a miscarriage, a few weeks after I had severe pain in lower right side ( not sure if it’s linked) I had to end up getting keyhole as they thought it was my appendix so they removed it in case the pain returned so my appendix was fine all they said was I had free fluid in my lower right side.

Since I had that surgery I have been getting pain on and off in the same lower right side from October to may. Gp suggested it could be kidney stones and I got a stomach X-ray but it was normal and so was my blood test.
They thought ovarian cysts but no nothing.

In may the pain then went in my lower left side internal scan showed free fluid then the day after both my sides was sore then it went all back into my lower right side.

Since early July I’ve been getting pains varying from ( something wanting to pop) burning / stabbing / Shooting pains. I’ve been keep track with a pain log , last night I ended up in a&e due to feel sick , vomiting , stabbing pain and feeling lightheaded they done urine sample and bloods and said they was fine and said maybe it’s cysts then sent me home

I’ve called my gp to explain about them wanting me to get another scan he wants to yet offer more pain relief which I’m sick and tired of taking. Because of all this he’s now starting to think is the pain physiological which is getting me down don’t know why they just won’t make the right referals.

Sorry for the long post as any been through this before? Advice pls Sad

Hi, I had this and it was due to a back issue, malaligned pelvis with pain radiating to my right side, groin area, caused nausea etc. Scanned for cysts etc. Osteopath helped alot. Might be an option, hope u feel better soon

The pain could be due to adhesions/scar tissue due to earlier surgery. Even though keyhole surgery is better it can still firm adhesions. Unfortunately, you cannot see adhesions on scans or x-rays. Even if a doctor suspects adhesions they don't operate because it leads to further adhesions. Do read up about them and if you think that is the cause then discuss with your GP as there are exercises that can help.
