Missed period

In February this year I had a missed miscarriage and then in June I had a chemical pregnancy, this month we have tried again and I'm 3 days late. This NEVER happens so naturally I was excited. I've done a pregnancy test and it's come back negative. I'm still waiting for my period but i was wondering if anyone else had been through this as it's so hard having a test say one thing and my body another. I do know that a negative test after a missed period means no baby but I have no one else to talk to about this stuff as my husband doesn't understand.

Yes! This has happened to me a number of times whilst TTC. My period was so late that the MAU (due to my miscarriage history) did blood tests for me even though I'd had a negative test at home as i was just so worried i was having another loss. When it came back negative and had a chat with the nurse my period came within a day or two. It is very possible to delay your period with the stress/hope of a pregnancy. Try and relax and destress as best you can and your period will come. It was a negative this time but i have every hope for you that you'll get your happy ending x

@MarieeBarone it's nice to hear other people have been through it. I'm the first in my family so no one knows how to help. The kind words get sickening after a while even though they mean well and I know they wouldn't do anything to upset me further. Xx
