If you suffer from under boob/belly sores, what do you use?

As a big lady, although I shower daily and am meticulous with personal hygiene, my skin chafes under my boobs and belly roll and sometimes causes sores. I've been using Cuticura lightly medicated powder, which has helped, but its very messy. Just wondering if anyone else out there has this problem and if so, what do you use? Thanks.

I love the Lush dusting powder (silky underwear) under my boobs. Makes a massive difference to boob sweat and any discomfort.

Maybe see the GP before trying anything stronger than sudacrem topically. I say this because when my daughter had the same issue, the GP said there were a few things to try depending on and first gave her antifungal cream. She took some swabs to check for fungal and bacterial infections. They both came back clear so she diagnosed intertrigo and said stop using the fungal cream. She gave us mild 1% hydrocortisone cream to use instead, twice daily for 2 weeks. Told us to only use water to clean the area. She did say if the swab had come back showing anything fungal she would have prescribed an anti fungal body wash. It got half way to better after 2 weeks so we were told carry on with hydrocortisone for 2 more weeks. After that it was 95% back to normal and we then had to stop the hydrocortisone as it should only be used short term because of side effects and it can thin the skin the GP said. It's been a couple of weeks since then and the area is back to normal now.

Reporting back after a couple of weeks' testing...

The Sudocreme didn't work for me as I just found it too messy and uncomfortable.

The Asda Little Angels liquid talc initially worked but then I found that later in the day I was still feeling 'moist' so had to use the Cuticura talc and if I'm doing that, no point using the liquid talc.

Haven't tried Germolene but intending to get some athlete's foot cream from local pharmacy tomorrow and will try that first.

Think I may need to see my GP but she's off at the moment and I'd rather wait and see her than a locum...

But Thank You! for the Flexifit Modal Midi Knickers recommendation Flowers Never heard of the brand before but got some and they are amazingly comfy, wash well, and I wish I'd known about them before. Previously always used the Sloggi brand but actually now prefer these Brew Cake Grin
