Pain during sex

Hi. Just after some advice really. Some quick background...

I'm nearly 28 I've got a 7 and 4 year old..
When my daughters were 4 and 3 months old I had a ruptured cyst on my ovary and had to have emergency surgery.
And then about 2 years ago I had suspected endometriosis and had to have LETZ treatment after my first smear test. Was told after surgery that they removed some scar tissue which was on my cervix (likely from childbirth) which would have been causing sex to be a bit painful. So I have suffered with my cervix/womb area.

Since having kids I've always suffered with sec being uncomfortable, spotting afterwards etc..

Has been fine for around a year or so...had the copper coil fitted in October and and now I've found that sex can be so painful and uncomfortable! And when having sex (and mainly if it becomes quite rough or deep penetration) my cervix literally feels and sounds like it's knocking against my partner...like we can hear and feel an uncomfortable knocking noise and it's becomes really painful. And nearly every time sex is over I spot for a couple of days and have really dull aches and pains in my stomach and lower back...

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Getting quite worried. Need to go to the doctors ASAP really once they're doing more appointments etc. But didn't know if anyone knows what it could be? Just worried as I do want one more child as well in the future, and it scares me that my cervix is always playing me up

I would go to the GP as soon as you can obtain an appointment. You should be referred to a specialist at hospital.

Who suspected endometriosis initially?.

Did they ever tell you what type of cyst it was on your ovary, I ask only as chocolate cysts can be related to endometriosis.

Deep pain during sex can be caused by endometriosis and this should be checked by a gynaecologist to see if this is present.

@AttilaTheMeerkat hi! No I don't think they told me the type of cyst! And it was the gyno..I had a smear done and was told I needed laser treatment and he suspected it!

They should have told you what type of cyst it was, there are several.

It could well be that the gynae you saw was infact correct.

As mentioned already deep pain during sex is a possible indicator of endometriosis being present and should be flagged up accordingly.
