Dimple in breast

So a couple of weeks ago I was getting changed and noticed a dimple(dent) in my left breast. The thing is you cant see it all the time, just mostly when I tense up! Anyone else have this?

It could be something and nothing, I have a few dimples on my breast (it's only when I lean forward I notice them) if you've not noticed it before then you need to get it checked.

My mum had breast cancer and it started as a 'puckered dimple' ... so don't worry but do get an appointment, either today if your GP is open (ours is) or Tuesday when they open back up.

Thanks for replying. I have spoken and sent a pic to GP yesterday. He has referred me to the breast clinic so just waiting for a letter now... I feel guilty that I might be wasting there time though 🙈

Your gp didn't think you getting checked was a waste of time.

Are you still about OP?

Hi OP. I'm going through this too. I found it last Wednesday, sent photo to GP and I have an appointment this Friday at the breast clinic in the local hospital.

That's good you got your appointment so quick. Hope your doing ok.
Waiting around is the worst thing. I'm sure all will be fine, please let me know how you get on.

Don't feel guilty, it's much better for you as well as the NHS that you get seen and in case there is any issue (hopefully not!) it can be treated asap. There have been lots of messages that people need to keep going in for concerns like this, or we'll end up with a mass of much more critical issues in a few months time.

I had the same issue and luckily it wasn't anything, but the breast clinic process is very slick and they were really reassuring that it was the right thing to come and were able to give me results right there.

Good luck Flowers

That's great, so glad it was all ok for you.
If I'm honest I'm not too concerned and I'm sure it will be nothing but I'd rather be told its nothing then have it in the back of my mine :)

Yes it's the wait and worry. Google is not great to use for advice either I've discovered. I will do, you too. Let me know when you get your appointment too Thanks

That's great @Stuckforthefourthtime so pleased you're ok.

@user1493208531 All went well, thank you for asking. All clear thank goodness! I cried with relief. They were amazing, mammogram, ultrasound. I was there just under three hours and they were just all so lovely. Very eerie as the hospital was so quiet and the usually packed car park was empty. Please let me know when you've got your appointment 💕
