Ache in vulva

Hi im hoping someone can relate. I've been putting off going to the gp.
Im overweight. We went to florida 18 months ago and did a lot of walking. Whilst there I got some symptoms of what I thought was a uti. Burning down below, feeling like I need the loo a lot. Anyway it passed.
A few months later it returned. I went to the gp. Tested urine, no infection. Went away.

About 6 weeks ago it came back but this time it has stayed. Pharmacist dipped my urine, all clear again. I've been googling and I'm confused as to what it could be.

Goes away during the night.
Gets worse as day goes on.
Worse if sit for long time or stand for long time.
Ache all in pelvis, vulva, anus, buttocks, down back of thighs
Feel like I need to urinate
Tender when I press on pelvic area
Goes away during period

Any ideas? I've looked with a mirror and i do have some varicose veins and my perineum is blue. So I was wondering if it could be that with me being overweight. I also sit a lot due to a back problem.
I have dead nerves in my buttock due to slipped dics in back. Have no feeling in leg permanently but I don't think this is linked.

Menstrual cycle ok. Had transvaginal ultrasound last year, no cysts, fibroids, etc. Help!

You really need to go back to your GP and also perhaps think about how you could address the impact of your weight on your health. Take care.

Yes most definitely. Unfortunately the GPS are all closed for non essential due to coronavirus.
Losing weight slowly

Hello ILovetea - I started a thread on here called 'vulva burning only when walking'- read through for ideas. Mine improves at night too. Sorry to hear yours is causing you issues too. It's weird it goes away when you're on your period, unsure why would that be. I think with GP's being SO BUSY at the moment try to book an appointment at your local GUM clinic (look them up). The staff working there is very compassionate, knowledgable and they had a good look at mine when I went whereas my gp wouldn't examine me (a man and probably apprehensive with examination...). GUM clinic gave me a steroid cream when I went and it was free of charge! I think mine is a skin issue and yours might be too but the veins are likely to cause the pain too. It might be a combination of stuff not necessarily one cause but for your sanity explore your symptoms with medical professionals. And keep in touch here too- it will make you feel less alone. I certainly feel the benefits when people get back to me :) all the very best!

Could it be a prolapse? It sounds similar to my rectocele before I had it repaired.

just found this today and think it looks like a great list of doable/helpful advice! It's weird that those irritants out of nowhere start irritating us but I am just accepting our bodies are silly and we need to play along ;)
