Normally before AF I get sore breasts for a couple of days leading up to it. Sometimes a week before, pain is bearable nothing awful.
Last month my breast pain was excruciating, for almost 2 weeks before AF they were sore, on the days leading up to it they were so sore and heavy and swollen the pain had me in tears. I was 3 days late and worried I was actually pregnant which would probably have explained the pain. AF arrived and the pain subsided, mostly, during AF they were still a bit tender.
I’m now on CD14, been showing signs of ovulation for around a week already (ewcm etc) which is unusual for me and my breast pain has already started - actually started a few days ago. I’m not due on for another 2 weeks and the pain is already awful. Not sure I can handle 2 weeks of this. They feel swollen and sore and I’m unable to be without a bra at all. I’m normally a 34GG so when they feel swollen they just feel so huge.
I’m not really sure what’s going on. Anyone else suddenly started suffering with breast pain like this? I’m 34 so assuming I’m not peri-menopausal, no history of early menopause in the family. TIA

^ I'd not take too much notice of that.

Unusual breast pain should be investigated- I think you should make an appointment with your GP.

I had breast pain for 2 months solid, exactly like the pain you get when due your period. Went to the doctors, they suggested evening primrose oil. Of course by the time I'd got the appointment the pain had stopped, so never took it, so I can't comment on it's efficacy. Looking back (it was a few years ago) I can now link it to my hormones starting to change as I'm now officially peri menopausal.
