Pelvic pain and ovarian cysts

I will try to keep this as short as possible. 10 years ago I had a dermoid cyst which was removed by a C section style op. I now have a 7 cm x 7 cm dermoid cyst on my right ovary and a corpus luteum cyst of 2.5 cm on my left ovary. I also have a thickened uterine lining. None of this has ever given me any problems, apart from the odd sharp pain. Six weeks ago I moved a heavy piece of furniture, something I have done before with no problem. The next day I was aware something wasn’t right, I am normally a very active person but suddenly I could hardly walk. I had pain in my leg and a burning dragging sensation throughout my pelvic area. I have been in and out of a&e 3 times in pain. I have been checked for a prolapse, but doctors found nothing. The only thing found was a thrush infection. I have also seen my consultant gynaecologist who seemed puzzled by what had happened. He advised that I should have surgery to remove the cysts, tubes and ovaries. He also took a uterine biopsy and gave me a smear test . Tests have come back normal.

In the last 2 weeks, the burning sensation seems to have settled down a bit.

The dragging sensation remains but has gotten slightly better. I still can’t lift anything heavy like a bucket of water. It reminds me of my recovery from my C-section style operation to remove my last dermoid cyst. I think I have torn some muscles. Does this sound familiar to anyone.

I had this burning and dragging when the internal incision from my dermoid op (same as yours) had weakened and caused an incisional hernia. Can you feel any sort of bulge under your scar? It’s a tiny keyhole op to put it right if it’s that.

I can't feel anything but the scar area has always been lumpy and often numb. I am due to have a laparoscopy this time, although I have been told it may not be possible due to the old scar tissue. I guess if it's a hernia they will find it when they operate. Had so many people prod my stomach but they can't find anything apart from the cysts. I also have IBS and have been told it could be everything is inflamed and causing pressure. Sitting on hard surfaces is a nightmare. Sometimes standing is painful but once I start moving the dragging sensation lessens.

Also forgot to mention that I also get vaginal cramps and twitches.
