How long was it until you had a period after giving birth?

Had my son 4 months ago and I haven't had a period since then. I'm not breastfeeding.

Is this normal or should I be worried?

Was (and still am - reluctantly) BF-ing and had my first period when baby was 17 months. So pissed off that they're back. Enjoy life without them!

Northernsoullover · 18/08/2019 22:16

One sodding month later. I was also breastfeeding

StayInYourLaneBoy · 18/08/2019 22:17

6 weeks. Right in time for my 6 week check up

SayWhatNowYall · 18/08/2019 22:18

18 months! But was BF. Four months still seems reasonable tbh. See your GP if concerned?

Unless you are TTC, enjoy. I can’t imagine there’s anything to be worried about. It can take a while.

I want to say 5 weeks 3 days after.
And I say that cause I stopped bleeding from csection a few days before, I was only spotting, but then now I'm back to it like if it was a period; however, I am so what breastfeeding.
Now I'm confused

GaraMedouar · 27/08/2019 21:19

About 6 months I think. Wished it was longer.

Cyclemad222 · 27/08/2019 21:23

Pixie2015 · 27/08/2019 21:24

2 and half years but was BF every night

firstimemamma · 27/08/2019 21:27

Around 7 months I think and I breastfed.

orangejuicer · 27/08/2019 21:30

6/7 months (not breastfeeding). Be prepared, it wasn't particularly fun!

JuneSpoon · 27/08/2019 21:30

22 months no period, still breastfeeding
