Menstrual cup + menstrual underwear

Wasn't sure where to put this, but basically does anyone have recommendations for a) a menstrual cup and b) menstrual underwear i.e. the ones that are meant to be leakproof etc that you wear instead of other sanpro?

Since having DD (14 months) and a host of gynae problems that have meant lots of examinations and intervention I finally feel a little bit more confident with my body and would like to give a cup a go. Not least because since having DD I find that I frequently leak from my usual tampons even when they are not anywhere near full, so I basically always have to wear a tampon + a pad atm, which is annoying and expensive. Not to mention bad for the environment. I was thinking a cup + absorbent menstrual underwear might solve these problems and would be much better for the environment. And cheaper in the long run. I dunno where to start to look for them though?

I got menstrual pants from a site called Your Moon Time, they do cups as well.

I use wuka and modibod. I have the wuka for day 1/ night time and the modibod for lighter times as they didnt have heavy flow ones in the big knicker style that I like. I like the modibod ones and often wear them if I'm having a long day say travelling as they make me feel dryer, they are also good on hot days/ for the gym.
Wuka are good too but def period pants as quite padded, only once did I soak through and that was within hours just a fluke period I guess as I've been using them 6months + I have two of each which is a bit of a pain as need to wash often I could do with one more so could wear one, have one ready to swap and one washing.
I do feel better wearing them overnight not as hot and uncomfortable as pads and it feels secure and soaks up better than pads that often left residue feeling damp. They also go further back and I'm a back sleeper so works much better than trying to judge where I should put a pad as to how I was planning on sleeping !
I'm looking into cups now as I could do with a alternative for the odd times I use tampons like on holiday.

I have one pair of wuka period pants and I wish I could afford more! I got them as I find tampons very uncomfortable nowadays and feel very anxious during yoga and karate wearing a pad as I worry about the pad getting misplaced and getting leakage. The pants are fantastic, though. Full 'coverage', as it were! And they are very absorbent.

Try the Cheeky Wipes website - they have a few different products. Period knickers and reusable san pro

I use a Mooncup, purely because I could buy it when I was in Boots one time. And actually once I got it adjusted (you can trim the “stalk” bit to the right length) and was used to putting it in / taking it out, then I love it. I think if you look online then there a few quizzes you can take to find what types might suit you. I also found that until I was used to getting it in the right place then it could leak a tiny bit, so combining a cup with washable pads/period pants is definitely worth considering.
