Returning periods when breastfeeding - symptoms

I expect this is a post that will be unanswerable but just giving it a shot.

My periods returned after my first child at around 22 months and I had extremely challenging symptoms which I now wonder were related.

They were specifically; muscle feeling very tight and itchy around ovulation and lots of tingling and numbness in my hands and feet (can't remember if that was around ovulation or near period though.)

There were other things going on; I think I'd been on a bit too much thyroxine at the time and I also at that point was very weak and I hadn't had asthma diagnosed.

My second child is now 1 and I'm much healthier this time though I'm again on slightly too much thyroxine and am adjusting slightly.

I've started to get the same symptoms again, the tingling and numbness and painful at times extremely badly and I'm wondering if my cycle is returning as I've noticed a change in cervical mucus.

It's quite challenging to live with and definitely worse if I've had some alcohol or am dehydrated.

I've seen the Gp and has blood tests, the only thing was the tsh at 0.22, t4 22.7 so I'm adjusting slightly.

A middle of the night thought wondered if it was cycle related; google said that pms could have those symptoms but not much info otherwise. I'm still breastfeeding but stopping won't make a difference as I stopped a whole after last time and the symptoms continued for some time.

Any experience?
