Dc3 is now 4mo. For a while I've felt something wasn't right. I don't feel empty when I wee, feel like I'm leaking but I'm not.

I've just checked in the shower and something is there that shouldn't be. I felt sick and faint. I'm gutted. I'm only 36.

What will happen?? I go to the drs Monday but am now terrified.

First of all don't panic!
I'm in a similar position - 34 with a 5 month old. When it first happened I literally thought everything was going to fall out and was hysterical!

Get GP to check it out but what you will need in the first instance is a referral to a specialist Women’s health physio to work on strengthening your pelvic floor. I have my first apt next week so can't tell you what will happen but while I've been waiting I've downloads the nhs Squeezy app and have been doing pelvic floor exercises religiously which has helped.

From what I've read on dr google prolapse is really common in postpartum women and there are lots of ways things can be improved.

Thank you so much for your reply. I've been googling! The kegal 8 looks good but it's pricey. I've just down loaded the NHS app so will give that a go.

Would you have more babies now? I would love another but this really puts me off now.

I've had a look at the kegal 8 as well and it is pricey - I think I will speak to physio first as I guess if you can do pelvic floor exercises correctly by yourself then that should help....it's a lot of money to spend if there's no additional benefit.

Well this is my second baby and we definitely aren't having anymore - this was decided before the whole prolapse thing....Now though I think I'd be so worried to have another just in case things got a lot worse. Having said that though seems like lots of women have gone on to have more babies and their prolapse hasn't got worse.
