Hi, I hope this is the right place for this, I'm looking for some advice.

I bought a menstral cup a few months ago and am struggling to get it in the right position so as not to have any leaking. This month has been the worst and I cannot work out what else I can do. I've watched so many YouTube videos about techniques it's affecting my Facebook ads!! 😂

Can I ask for tips on insertion please and knowing it's opened. I thought I'd be able to put it in a forget it for 8hrs. It is collecting some though.

Sorry this is all quite TMI I get that.

Thank you in advance.

I have a tilted cervix and used to use a mooncup for that later stages of my period but I never put it that high a I found it didn't work.
My DD has used one for a year(now 15)and she took a few months to get it right but will now confidently swim, climb in it and has a period app that she can enter amounts of flow in !

I've been a cup user for years. Lunette, Mooncup, Divacup, and now am on the Tulip. Tulips don't have as many holes to let air out as some (at least, mine only has 2) and it's made of a much softer silicone. I have the Tulip sit much lower down than some of the others because it's so soft. I often will run my finger around to ensure it's no gaping anywhere, but it wil often not "pop" out properly until a few minutes later (always entertaining). The annoying bit is the holes of the Tulip do mean that if it goes in funny I have to rinse it again at a sink before I can reinsert it. Taking it out is also a little more finicky than others as it's the shiny silicone, so it gets a bit tricky to keep a hold of compared to the matte versions around...

I can't speak to the tilted cervix, but I will say the Tulip has been my least favourite thus far (along with the Divacup). If you're a first-time user, it may not be the most user-friendly.

Please can I ask for some advice. I did the quiz test thing mentioned above and a few days later the fleurcup arrived. I've used tampons forever but fed up of the dryness and the wet string etc.

I have tried to fold and insert. The rim is so thick. It pops open and then is outside again. It's painful to insert. What am I doing wrong? I've watched YouTube etc and tried this in the shower over and over again. And now I hurt Confused.

What can I do?
