When to worry about moles? (pic)

Since I was really young I've had a mole/lumpy freckle beside my right nipple which has stayed relatively stable and round as I grew. During my pregnancy last year however, it seems to have gotten a bit bigger and more oddly shaped, but hasn't ever caused any pain or itchiness, just doesn't look very attractive (pic).

During my pregnancy I also noticed a few dark spots appearing round my nipples (I'm sure they have a name/are normal but I can't remember) however it's now been about a year since I had my baby and I still have 2 of these marks, one has became almost black? Just not sure if I should make a doc appt, or if this is just a waste of time. Just starting to get a bit worried

If it has changed its best to get it checked out. I had one change recently and was referred to the melanoma clinic within a week of the gp appointment. Luckily the consultant took one look and declared it benign. He advised me that around 97% of patients referred have benign changes, but it's always better to be safe than sorry.

If you are worried OP, please get it checked out. Like PP said, probably nothing, but worth getting checked to put your mind at rest

I am a moley person and had a fair few removed which have ranged between being fine and on the more serious side of being well dodgy (melanoma serious)

If you are in any doubt get it checked out.

But i do remember that moles can change with pregnancy and that can be perfectly normal - many of mine went much darker than normal. However if you are worried get them seen too.
