leaking urine

I've occasionally had this before when I've sneezed etc (since having children) but it's getting worse, I'm having urge incontinence and also feel like I can't empty my bladder properly so leaking randomly - it's horrible!
Is this likely to be a UTI or do I just have to accept it?

I had a back injury a while ago and worried that the two things may be related, but I've had a couple of MRI scans and nothing showed up thankfully.

Any advice or do I need to buy shares in tena for the foreseeable now??

Go to your GP and get it checked out first.
I have just finished 4 weeks with a pelvic health physio and it's made a big difference and I had urge incontinence pretty bad. I've already had a mesh bladder repair a few years ago.
The sooner you go the better.

Please go see your GP asap. So many woman ignore this stuff, there's just no need to suffer.

Ask for a referral to a woman physio from the gp. A local pilates teach in my area also runs a pelvic floor 6 week course. See if there is anything in your area like this. Work a try

Thanks - I actually have a gp appointment tomorrow. I'm hoping it's a lingering uti that's easy to fix (!) but definitely willing to give a women's physio a go.

Are there any other potential causes? I was previously on medication that can increase likelihood of uti/bladder issues, but stopped them 10 days ago. I'd hoped it would get better but no sign of that yet

So GP says women's physio probably wouldn't help so the next stop is the incontinence clinic Sad
Checking for uti before this.

GP is talking rubbish. The incontinence clinic will tell you to do exercises anyway. Ask there for a referral.
I was very bad, pee'd myself at least 6 or 7 times a day, flooding not even dribbles.
I couldn't empty my bladder and could only poo by splinting.
The PHP helped all off this to the point I have come off medication I used for an overactive bladder.

That's good to know - thanks @Cocolepew

Tena are great actually. I have been wearing them since my 4th baby. They are a good treatment- no drugs or surgery involved.
