I had my DD in March this year, in May I had the implant put in and bled for about 1/2 weeks, then absolutely nothing up until the 17th October & I bled until 26th October. I've now just started spotting again? Does anyone know if this is normal?
Thank you!

In my experience the implant is shite.

It has been 100% effective so far, which is the only reason I've kept it in!

Initially had a couple of months with no periods, then went back to one a month for 3 months i think.... then one every two weeks for many months... last few months t has gone back to one a month, or even one every two months, but the bleeding has gone from 5 days to over a week... my last one topped it all at 3 weeks.

From what I have read, some people are very lucky, and some are more unlucky than me..

Ok, I have had the implant for years and years now and it's just given me constant greif with my periods. Sometimes I have no period, then I'll get light ones then heavy. At the moment I'm having a light period followed by a heavy one 2 days later. The doctor didn't take me seriously or give me any advice. I just put up with it as I don't want to get pregnant. The implant will take what you think you know about your own body and turn it on its head.

My first one was great I think I had 3 periods in 3 years, 2nd one I got out early as I had bled for 2 months straight after random bleeding for months.
