My body is all over the place.
I have Pvcs (feel like skipped beats) I've had all the tests and nothing wrong with my heart.
I was fine this morning and soon as I left the house I started having the Pvcs then hot flush,I was dripping in sweat ..I got back home sat down and it stopped but now I'm sat here freezing cold now.
My period is due in two days and I'm exhausted,I get so tired, also feel so sick before my period.
Could it be hormone imbalance ?

I also have that nervous feeling in my stomach too.
My hands get all sweaty too.
And I think oh god it's happening again

It could be rosacea. I’ve suffered from hot flushes my whole life due to rosacea.

Handbaghag · 14/09/2018 20:42

I had your symptoms when I was ill with anxiety.

BumbleNova · 14/09/2018 21:03

OP this sounds like a panic attack. I thought I had a bug that was giving me hot flushes before I realized that I was actually having panic attacks.

Is there more going on? Are you ok?

sallysoso · 14/09/2018 22:21

Ive been going through a LOT of stress and I'm constantly worried.
I wake up with that scared feeling.
I've had GAD for years but thought I had got rid of it all.
This last week I've drove myself crazy thinking I hadn't locked the door when I left home and left the cooker on..
I don't know what's going on.

I've had blood tests ,heart scans ,heart monitor ,ecg ,thyroid checked ,smear test ,swabs ,pelvic ultrasound
They can't find anything wrong with me.

Sweetie it sounds like your anxiety monster is raising it's ugly head. And you're getting anxious wondering what's wrong. Trust me, I've got the t shirt with tour dates on the back. Be kind to yourself, stop and give some self care. Do you know some mindfulness exercises/relaxation/breathing?

Handbaghag · 14/09/2018 22:58
Flowers

Yeah I did CBT a couple of years ago and they went through the breathing exercises etc but I struggle with that when I'm having a hot flush.
I'm going to try and get in control of it.
About 8 years ago I was terrified to go out alone ..I don't ever want to get back to that again.

Get your oestrogen levels checked.

sallysoso · 15/09/2018 11:02

My doctor refused to check my hormones as they were checked a year ago

That’s so not good. Just to say, my DD had hot flushes from her teens onwards, depression and anxiety, was misdiagnosed persistently until in her early 30s she visited a private (and eminent and well regarded) consultant...her oestrogen levels were those of a perimenopausal woman and she turned out to have PCOS (missed on a NHS scan, albeit done by a private contractor - my DD saw the scan and to her it looked just like the image she had seen of PCOS, but the person doing the scan said otherwise). I don’t think many GPs are interested or have a clue...can you see another doctor?

hallodarknessmyoldfriend · 15/09/2018 15:31

I would say anxiety..

Did they check your thyroid hormones levels?

Heidimay · 17/09/2018 15:23

I went through a similar experience earlier this year, I believed it could be hormone related, then I thought I kept getting flu/fevers, but it was actually panic attacks. It might not be what you were expecting to hear or thinking but it can be treated and it's really worth trying - it made such a difference to my quality of life x
