Weeing constantly, terrified

Hi, went the doctor today, for persistant weeing. Ive had this since Monday morning and it just came on overnight.
I am ovulating this week, so don't know if this is causing problems.
I saw the doctor today. Urine sample dip test was clear, no sugar in urine either.
Abdominal examination with hands was fine, she said she could not feel anything.
I've been sent for bloods in 11 days, plus bladder scan. She wasn't concerned, but it was more for my peace of mind. She fully expects them not to find anything.
Absolutely terrified it's Ovarian Cancer or bladder cancer.
Doctor thinks it's anxiety.
It doesn't wake me up at night.
I don't wee a lot when I wee and I don't have to rush to the toilet. I can stop myself from weeing, by ignoring it. But the urge is always there.
I have a smear test next week and very worried about it due to HA. Doctor thinks it may be anxiety.
Help!!!!

I pee like a cart horse when I drink tea so I've cut it out until 10am. Apparently caffeine is a diuretic.

Sounds like you've wound yourself up into thinking you always need to pee but you don't. Most likely anxiety

I dont have any symptoms of cystitis. I know weeing is a symptom of OC. Really worried

You've got health anxiety, you acknowledge that. Why do you think this is anything more than that?

Do you have a history of thinking you have cancer? This is very familiar.

I'm sure it'll be your anxiety. I have a really inconvenient problem whereby I know that I don't need to pee at all, but whenever I see traffic start to build up and slow on the motorway, I panic about getting caught short in the traffic jam and I immediately feel like I really need to go, even if I've not long since been. It's 100% all in my head... You're not physically needing to wee constantly - you're just fixated on it.

My mum died of lung cancer and my dad's sister died of ovarian cancer. I've had health anxiety since then.
I was very worried about my smear test next Wednesday, that I might have cancer etc.
I have made myself ill will anxiety in the past.
It's very draining.
