Following with interest as I've been researching them too

Do you mean the ones by Diary Doll- Carol Smillie company? I have some and they are good but come up small fitting. I'd suggest going up a size.

purplegreen99 · 29/08/2018 18:08

Following too, as I was just about to post the same question on behalf of dd. Are they are actually a substitute for tampons/towels or just added leakproofing? What do you do about washing them? I know the Carol Smilie ones have been around a while, but I keep seeing ads for other brands now - Thinx, Modibodi, Wuka, so wondering if there is much difference between them? I read this but I'm very skeptical as it reads like an advert: www.cosmopolitan.com/uk/body/a19591494/period-proof-underwear-modibodi/
(Sorry to hijack OP, hopefully these are the kind of things you wanted to know too Smile)

Please ask away - I am intrigued. Hopefully someone will be along to enlighten us shortly...

I bought these for my DD and they work really well . She wears a normal sanitary towel and a pair of these -they just help to prevent any leaks -which was very helpful when she has her period in school in case of any embarrassing accidents -she has never leaked through these pants and she has very very heavy periods

IHaveBrilloHair · 29/08/2018 18:32

I'm interested too.
Dd has v heavy periods and I think they would be good for her if they actually work.

You can get them on Etsy as well - lots of CSP or knickers sellers will do a variation with added layers for period pants. I think they can vary the thickness depending on if you want them just for leaks, or to use alone.
