Pelvic floor - is this normal

Post DC I've also been prone to leaks on sneezing/coughing etc

With DS I had large episiotomy and ventouse and things have never felt the same downstairs.

Recently DD got invited to a trampoline party and one of those indoor jump park things. I realised I've put off taking the kids myself as there is no way I could do it - I would just wet myself.

This week DD was trying to skip with a rope I offered to show her, jumped about 10 times and needed clean knickers!

I do pelvic floor exercises is that all I can try as it's bloomin irritating

It's common, but not normal.

I had an episiotomy, forceps etc 6 months ago, and have been left with both bladder and bowel prolapses. I have been assessed by a gynaecologist and now see a woman's health physiotherapist.

Depending on the damage done, it can be a lot more complex than "just do your pelvic floors", which is the line that a lot of healthcare professionals churn out Angry

See your GP and ask for a referral to gynaecologist services if you are concerned.

It's normal in that it's common. However, it's showing you that your pelvic floor needs attention.
Try
:see your GP. This is stress incontinence and they can refer you to gynae and specialist physiotherapist.
: learn about doing effective pelvic floor exercises. Lots of women are not doing them properly. Google "Gussie grips"
: if you are overweight, losing pounds reduces the burden on your pelvic floor.
