Amazon have dispatched my book. This time tomorrow I will be ignoring mumsnet, shunning Twitter and blanking facebook.

The children will arrive home from school to find me tucked up on the sofa in front of a roaring fire having done zero in the way of domestic duties. :o

Oh hip hurrah. is it out tomorrow? i have a whole week off in which to enjoy it.

I am off to waterstones after drop off to buy it as amazon weren't going to deliver until the 20th!

Can I just give a heads up. If you have an iPhone, download the kindle application, and you can then buy the book cheaper from the kindle store. It does not require going out to the shops either to cut into precious jilly time.

Did anyone read Caitlin Moran meets Jilly Cooper in the Times this Saturday?

I love both Caitlin and Jilly. Caitlin is apparently called plain old Catherine Moran, she changed her name to Caitlin as her nom de plume after Caitlin O'Hara!

Apparently Caitlin and Jilly got pissed on champagne and just sat there gossiping about the rich and famous.

Yes I read it, I was hoping for a bit more salacious detail about the characters. There was very little about the book at all.

DH just came in and told me the review in the Metro this morning was terrible. He's planning to buy it for my birthday soon and I'm itching to get my hands on it. He just asked if I still want it. Silly question but I thought I'd consult the MN oracles
