If A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving is your fav book, I seriously need your help

I have managed to bag a spot on Radio 4's Bookclub recording with John Irving all about A Prayer for Owen Meany. It is my absolute favorite book and I think John Irving has got to be my favourite author too.

I am so excited to be going, there will only be about 30 people at the recording but I have to ask a question about the book to the great man himself and I am seriously nervous. I am convinced I am going to ask a question that really sounds stupid. Help!! I am rereading it now but I feel like I am cramming for an exam.

I've been away for a week, and I came back to this thread to see how you got on. I'm so glad he was charming - I imagine that he would be, but I'd have been a bit gutted if he turned out to be a knob.
