So, anyone wanna post their numbers so far?

I'm intrigued

I'm on 33. Some are re-read old faves, some "easy" teen books, and some have been a slog.

Loving keeping a list though

I think this is the most reading I have done in a very long time.

Only 20, but I haven't counted all my re-reads, which probably makes it more like 25. I was really pleased with that - 75, goodness!

I am enjoying keeping a list though, it's really helpful

It the one thing I am really really good at!

Me too!

Janeite, I read Sara's Face and found it gripping and thought-provoking. But I found Doing it () utterly tedious! I guess I'm not the key demographic.

janeite · 01/07/2009 21:28

Doing It deffo not good! Junk has dated badly. DD was totally freaked by Sara's Face but I thought it was clever. My Life As A Dog was too much, even for me.

janeite · 01/07/2009 21:28

Actually I think it's My Life As A Bitch - which says a lot about the shock value he's aiming for!

  1. Would have been 65 before I had dd and stopped having enough time to read as much as I liked. Bah.

I'm on about 40 which is on schedule for my usual 80-90 a year. I'd love to get to 100 - maybe when I retire. I have kept a list for three years now and really like doing so. I review them on my Bookcrossing shelf so can always look up on there what I thought. BTW the total includes about 5 audiobooks which I listen too whilst ironing, walking to work, on the bus etc. Always have a book with me and read a few paragraphs whenever I get the chance.
