My Sister's Keeper - Jodi Picoult - Made into movie

DH saw a trailer for it a few nights ago...I really enjoyed the book. Little bit worried that DH thought it was Cameron Diaz in trailer though...can anyone confirm? Hope the book isn't ruined by Hollywood like so many others have been before.

Saw the film. A real weepy - esp touching when cancer daughter has romance with fellow patient. Cameron Diaz did not annoy. Came across as a stressy mum with little vanity, but all absorbing need to save her daughter, without looking at the wider picture. In fact I thought she was very good. Yes, they changed the ending. I suspect they thought that would have been a death too far for the audience.

Go on then, spill, what is the film ending?

I cried my eyes out. Still think they should have kept the book ending.

don't do spoilers that show in the first line ... I shall now force myself to forget it...mind it was a rubbish book if addictive book so I probably won't gert around to seeing it until it hits DVD.

oh my god- the trailer has got me crying- and the kids are asking for more dinner- typical!

ooo it's the girl from Little Miss Sunshine, she was really good in that.
I'll wait for DVD for this though I think.
