It was Strawwelpeter, very scary translations from the German, (Shock Headed Peter), utterly horrible, gave both my father and me nightmares as children.

No idea what I read first - I read pretty well whatever was to hand.

I've got Carbonel and the Kingdom of Carbonel at my parents' house, Soupy.

blubber, when i was about 11ish i think. Very sordid at that age!!!
