Oh my word, I started this book last night, couldn't put it down, finished it at stupid o'clock this morning and nearly washed us out of bed with tears!!!! What an amazing, thought-provoking book, really made you think it all happens for a reason.

Only downside was that as soon as I finished the book, I snuggled up to dh who was blissfully unaware of the big, snotty mess that his dw had morphed into, went to sleep still weeping, and woke up this morning looking like I'd got myximitosis!!! Puffy eyes just doesn't cover it!!!!

Sorry but I hated it. Like wading through treacle.

Did he write this after Tuesdays with Morrie? Did seem like the proverbial 'difficult second album' seeing as Morrie was basically handed to him on a plate.

Loathed it - kept sighing and moaning to dh how bad it was.

But also disliked 'Tuesdays with Morrie' - far too much the big 'I'm so marvellous' for me.

So would avoid Albom like the plague from now on.

Have just got this out of the library, so we will see!

This Human Season - woke up in the night crying at the mere thought of the description of baby Liam in the bath with the soap in his hand.

Ever since my twins were born i have been able to cry at the drop of a hat - must be some hormonal shift or else I'm getting more sentimental in my old age.
