What an excellent, terrible book. How much loss can a single person (child!) stand and not go mad??
BTW, do you find you cannot cope with even fictious cruelty to children since you had kids?

Ok, I may suffer from empathy overdrive, however things like this did and do happen and THAT is what got to me, so sue me .

Obviously you are not alone, for this silly book has made it into the Bestsellers list.

That doesn't mean it was a great book, of course, but that it caters to the lowest common denominator. And that is very... low.
