The Suspicions of Mr Whicher by Kate Summerscale

Just finished this, it was really good. Anyone else read it?

Have finished it now, it is very interesting on many different levels, although I've come away feeling very sad for the little boy at the centre of it all and yet somehow sidelined. So cruel and unfair, and all down to jealousy and spite.

It was interesting - and I've always been a bit a true crime buff - but did get a bit tedious in places. I did get a bit annoyed with the constant references to Sherlock Holmes and the Moonstone. Kind of Thesis-like rather than Novel-like IFYSWIM. It was very interesting to find out what happened to Constance afterwards.
