I seem to have read most of Sarah Dunnant’s books, Tulip Fever and The Miniaturist.

Does anyone have any more suggestions I could look at please?

The Marriage Portrait

Great will have to add this one to my list. I’ve read a few of Maggie O’Farrell’s books but not this particular one.

If England is OK then the Wolf Hall Trilogy might work. Lots of references to Italian banking, Florence etc as Cromwell spent his youth there.

Also a fan of Sarah Dunant!

I finished The Marchesa just before Christmas. It was different to her other books but just like she always seems to do, she painted such a vivid picture of the main character, this time it was Isabella d’Este.

Have you read it?

Not sure how much it is though. I’m I think that I got it on a Kindle Deal which was lucky as I don’t always check them.

It leads on nicely from the Lucretia Borgia Books as Isabella d’este become her SIL although it very much doesn’t appear that they are DSILs Smile
