This is the most remarkable book written by the sister of Clodagh Hawe.
Clodagh and her three little boys were murdered by their father and husband, Alan Hawe.
I listened to the story on audible and found it truly remarkable in terms of the tenacity of Jacqueline and her Mother. They have battled every step of the way for 9 years against a huge range of injustice, mainly because people just thought they should go away, the family were dead, what was to be gained etc.
We've had another family annihilation case locally with the burials still to take place and I genuinely have learnt a lot from this book although it's heartbreaking. The ending is a gutsy realization by Jacqueline that she's her own woman but the entire book is testimony to this.
