Just got my monthly Audible credit and not sure what to listen to next.
Considering a memoir…Educated by Tara Westover or Unfollow by Megan Phelps-Roper??

Any other recommendations ?

How to Say Babylon by Safiya Sinclair is excellent - not sure if it will be on Audible but the book was really good.

And not a memoir exactly but Raising Hare by Chloe Dalton was so so beautiful if you like wildlife

@Haveapotato
I loved Raising Hare on audible. I listened to it whilst walking through fields with my dog. Perfect.
What’s Say Babylon about?

It's about her experience of growing up in a Rastafarian household with a very strict father. I genuinely learned so much about the culture / religion which was very different to my understanding of it previously. The write up says:

Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, where luxury hotels line pristine white sand beaches, Safiya Sinclair grew up guarding herself against an ever-present threat. Her father, a volatile reggae musician and strict believer in a militant sect of Rastafari, railed against Babylon, the corrupting influence of the immoral Western world just beyond their gate. To protect the purity of the women in their family he forbade almost everything.

Her mother did what she could to bring joy to her children with books and poetry. But as Safiya’s imagination reached beyond its restrictive borders, her burgeoning independence brought with it ever greater clashes with her father. Soon she realised that if she was to live at all, she had to find some way to leave home. But how?

How to Say Babylon is an unforgettable story of a young woman’s determination to live life on her own terms.

Mudlarking by Lara Meiklem is my ultimate comfort read. My 10 year old loves it too!

Educated is definitely worth a credit.
