Anyone read this? It's a Kindle Daily Deal today and I'm wondering whether to give it a try. I've not read anything from this author.

Witchy books I've read recently are Weyward and Her Majesty's Royal Coven so would be interested in how it compares to either of those.

I read A Haunting in the Arctic by this author and thought it was terrible.

I read The Lighthouse Witches and, likewise, thought it was terrible. It was not well written.
But then I also thought Weyward was pretty bad...

There were several things in Weyward that annoyed me, like a girl in the early 20th century estimating a distance in metres, not feet or yards, but mostly I thought it was OK.

Wearing tights in the 1940's was another error that a lot of reviews picked up on. The main issue I had was a birth certificate from 1926 showing Cumbria as the place of birth when Cumbria only came into being in 1974 😆That really should have been picked up in editing.

I just felt it was poorly researched and riddled with stupid annoying mistakes. Maybe it's partly because I lived in Westmorland for so many years but it just didn't feel authentic to me.
