What is your number one, unputdownable book, that you would recommend to absolutely anyone and everyone that will listen. Either fact or fiction - I am looking for some inspiration!

I am addicted to Martina Cole but Jackie Collins is truly the definition of page turner for me. But
I love Wilkie Collins so much. We did Woman in White for O level and it didn't ruin it for me. My friend always used to say Disreali missed a cabinet meeting and the opera to read it. I don't know if this is true and I never checked because its such a lovely idea. But that was back when we had a properly serious Prime Minister.

The Coroner's Lunch by Colin Cotterill. Set in Laos in the 70s. The first in a very entertaining, well written series.

The Boys from Brazil, by Ira Levin (who wrote Stepford Wives and Rosemary's Baby).
About Nazi war criminals. I wasn't expecting to find it as gripping as I did.

I Let You Go by Clare McKintosh. An up-all-night thriller with some unexpected plot turns.

The Jane Casey books about detective Maeve Kerrigan.
