I didn't know about the books. I watched the series on television ages ago and really enjoyed them. I must look them up!

The Killing Game is on kindle Amazon free at the minute if anyone's interested.

I have just found Cynthia Harrod-Eagles detective series. Mum had the Morland ones. But DCI Bill Slider Met Pol is absolutely contemporary.
