Tiny Habits - listening to the audiobook only a couple of chapters in and it’s interesting.

I came on to say atomic habits, imagine it's similar to tiny habits

Shifting the Dials by Rebecca Anderton-Davies. It's just out last week and is about a new approach to work/life balance (essentially). I'm enjoying it so far - lots of real life examples which I often find self help books lack.

I’ve just ordered the daily stoic by Ryan Holiday. I’ll come back in a few days to tell you what it’s like, but it does have good reviews.

Thank you!

Then why not mention the kind of self-help you're looking for, and ask for the best, instead of whatever someone is reading now? We have no idea if you're looking for ideas on how to relax or how to be busily productive, how to be fanatically food-conscious or how to be casual and inclusive about it.

I don’t read SH books any more. I get all the SH I need from the classics. That sounds a bit smug, I know, but it’s true. If you read great literature, I mean really devote yourself to it, it soothes and calms and guides you. When I complete a Dickens or George Eliot or D H Lawrence novel, I feel different - like I’ve grown in some way.

When I read DH Lawrence I feel like chucking the book out of the window
