Can I join? I'm reading Richard Hammond at the moment and just finished Richard Whitely before that (not an intentional Richard theme!).

Actually, I've got Dawkins! Definitely a theme developing here.

I get most of mine from the library, to be honest. The biography section is right next to the kids section in our library so it's the only bit I get to browse in peace. Charity shops are great - love them!

I went through a comedian phase and read Clary, both Billy Connolly's and Frank Skinner. The Billys were okay but I can't remember anything about the Frank one - obviously didn't make a big impression!

I used to buy these from charity shops too! I had a Beryl Reid one (!), also Rachel Roberts, Tina Turner etc.

Would love to join this book club

It's amazing the stuff I will read if it's given to me (Darius) or charity shop. Ours is really really cheap. Right I'm off shopping now

i think that was gable. flynn liked very young girls... his wicked, wicked ways...

MummyDoIt · 16/01/2008 10:49

What's the most surprising thing you've ever learnt about anyone from a celeb biography? I read David Coulthard's and he goes on quite a bit about toilets. Seems he's got a bit of a thing about clean toilets and will happily get his marigolds on and his loo brush out.

i read Jool's Hollands, got it for xmas ( i am fan).

It was quite good, but a little too factual, I wanted to know a bit more about the man himself.

Used to live in greenwich tho, so was interesting to see familiar names.

I read Daniel Day Lewis's one yrs ago, that was very appetising!

All celebs are a bit self obsessed but thought that Rupert Everett won the prize

Am I sick and ill in the head to be secretly hankering to read Kerry Katona (shoot me now)

Love diaries as well as biogs - do they count? Re reading Alaistair Campbell at the moment (I think I may have a crush - I am obviously beyond all help known to man)
