2022 year of classics

I normally read historical fiction or just contemporary fiction and the odd biography. But there are so many classics that I both want to read and feel I should.

I have lined up Little Women to start with.
Dracula, The brothers Karamazov, Wuthering Heights and Anna Karenina.

Any suggestions of classics that you have loved?

Oh, my maternal family are from the Potteries so I might give them a go.

@2022HereWeCome - I named my daughter Hester because I was re reading The Scarlet Letter when I was pregnant!

Honestly @highlandcoo I only know what my genealogical research and also some academic research has found out, but I haven’t looked that closely at the Potteries and passed through Stoke on Trent once on a flying visit so hopefully it will teach me a thing or two.
