Dickens - what should I read?

I've never ever read any Dickens (despite watching loads of BBC dramas of Dickens novels). What should I read and why? I don't mind a lengthy, sprawling saga.

Wondering about Great Expectations, A Tale of Two Cities or Bleak House? Or if there are better Dickens out there?

This reminds me of a funny conversation years ago, when I decided to give Dickens another try, and couldn't get any sense, from looking online, of what were considered the best novels.

So I tracked down a Dickens society and called up the president or someone like that, and politely explained my question. I could just hear the president draw herself up very frostily as she haughtily told me that ALL Dickens novels were "best."
