Laugh-out-loud books

I don't read a huge amount. I've come to realise I will only keep picking up a book if it's lighthearted and puts a smile on my face (unless maybe I'm child-free for a while and had the energy to get into something a bit more serious)!

Books I've really laughed at include the Hitchhiker's Guide series by Douglas Adams, some comedians' autobiographies, and I've just finished a friend's recommendation, Far Far Beyond Berlin by Craig Meighan, which had me laughing nearly all the way through.

I have some Amazon vouchers and some Waterstones vouchers. Can anyone suggest some others?

Three Feet of Sky by Stephen Ayres. Bizarre storyline but a thoroughly enjoyable read. Just found out there is a book 3

My family and Other Animals. I was at school, though. I was reading at night and I was laughing so hard, I had to stuff my duvet in my mouth so I didn't wake my parents. The vicar and the birds. Awful really Durrell wrote it so brilliantly.
Oh Adrian Mole, when his mum had the Christmas turkey in the bath. 🤣
I've laughed quite a bit at the Stephanie Plum novels.
Bridget Jones Diary - all her building problems.

Oh, I'm going to read these all again.

The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid, Bill Bryson's autobiography, makes me snort
