Do you have to pay import duty on books from the US bought on Amazon?

I want to order a book costing £7.33 (with free postage) from the US. Would I have to pay import duty on that in the UK? Thanks!

Thank you for the reply. Are you sure?! Looking on the government website it looks as though I might have to pay duty for any import that's not a gift, but it does seem weird for something that cheap!

My experience may be out of date, but I remember a limit of I think £18, below which it wasn't charged. But maybe someone else has more recent info.

I also thought tax was triggered at £18.

I've bought a number of low-priced books from America and never been charged any import costs.

There's a minimum I think, used to be about £15. There's no vat
