Help me choose next book club book

It's my turn to choose our next book. Looking for something that is a page turner whilst well written and has some depth. Given the current times, would like it to be 'feel good' or not too heavy or harrowing, but with discussion points. Preferably less than 400 pages, and not so recent that it's expensive to buy.
Please let me know if anything you've read and enjoyed fits the criteria! Thanks

Madeleine St John’s Women in Black? It’s quite short, beautifully written and in a subtle way has much to say about being a woman in a time and place. I loved it and have recommended it to lots of people.

Do you want contemporary? An absolute favourite of mine is Australian writer Kylie Tennant’s Ride in Stranger. It’s a wonderful coming of age book, set just before the Second World War.

Anything by Jane Gardem, but I love Bilgewater.

Barbara Trapido’s Brother of the More Famous Jack, or any of hers really.

Or you could go for something more off-beat like Paul Magr’s Never the Bride. It’s very quirky but I enjoyed it a good deal.

I keep going on about this book, but Educated by Tara Westover. I also think Such a fun age by Kiley Reid would be a good book club book.

Unorthodox by Deborah Feldman.
The Netflix series is loosely based on her true story. I haven’t watched the series yet and I am excited to.
But it was such a great book. She was a girl who had the courage of her own convictions and ultimately, trusted herself completely to transform her adult life into one of truth. I cried. I found it so empowering. She was born wise!

Girl, woman, other by Bernardine Evaristo is one of the best books I’ve read for a long while. It was a book club book and as such was a great choice as we all had a lot to say & found it really interesting (the hardest books to discuss are the ones you find forgettable and ‘meh’ aren’t they?). It covered a number of interesting subjects -race/feminism/sexuality/ageing without being worthy and dull. Loved it!

We have also read ‘Educated’ by Tara Westover. Misery memoirs aren’t my thing but it’s an interesting read. It’s had A LOT of hype from the likes of Oprah etc and while I don’t think it lived up to that, it’s a page turner and created a good discussion.

@TheVanguardSix, it’s TV not a book but try Shtisel on Netflix. One of the best written & most beautiful drama’s I’ve ever watched
