Following on...which of today's children's/ teenagers books will be classics in another 20 years?

What a scary thought, that our kids will one day be looking back with fondness on childhood/ teenage books, but which ones?!

Definitely Harry Potter, has to be
Dark Materials trilogy

any others?

Among picture books, of two I was forced to read repeatedly this morning, Winnie the Witch will be remembered fondly and Owl Babies will be forgotten, or perhaps remembered with a slight shudder.

I love Winnie the Witch.Korky Paul's drawings are ace.
We made a new discovery this week - DD3 brought a really funny one home from school this week called The Witches Children which I hadn't come across before. Does anyone else know it?
