Fantasy/magic recommendations please

A little while ago I posted here to ask for fantasy/ magic recommendations and someone suggested the October Daye series. Thank you! I absolutely loved them, even going so far as to buy the last one in hardback because it’s not out in paperback yet.
Does anyone have any similar suggestions? I really need my escapism at the moment.

The Dresden Files. Really good series.

Have you read any Tad Williams? He's good.
I know it's YA/children's, but I really liked the Mortal Engines series by Philip Reeve, the three prequels we're good too.

Terry Pratchett, obviously- because they're funny, clever and no hint of dystopia.

I have to agree with Errol. No doubt, Errol, you’d recommend the City Watch series and so would I!

Yes, and also the witches. And Small Gods. And ... well, that's enough to start with.

I love David Eddings - first series the belgariad is 5 books

Definitely Terry Pratchett, but not The Colour of Magic.

The Invisible Library series by Genevieve Cogman is quite good. Pretty light reading but engaging.

Anything by brandon sanderson. Start with mistborn or his standalone books warbreaker is a good one. Steelheart is an awesome twist on superheroes that reads more like a fantasy.

The thousand kingdoms by Jensins is excellent.

The temerare series is AMAZING like master and commander naval series but with dragons. Sounds naff but is excellent and true to period.

The live ships series by Robin hobb

One big surprise for me has been Dan Wells I am not a serial killer. Don't read about it before hand...Just go for it. Creepy rather then scary.

Robin Hobb trilogy series - Farseer, Liveship, Golden Fool(?), and whatever the last trilogy is - all in the same world.

Name of the wind. It's on all the best of lists for good reason.

The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss and its sequel The Wise Man's Fear. Final book of the trilogy due out fairly soon (after years of waiting by impatient fans!). The Name of the Wind is my favourite book of all time!

The Greta Helsing series is really good fun (though she lost her way a bit in the third I think). I'm really enjoying the Night Raven books by Sarah Painter.
If you like the 'technical magic' part of Ben Aaronovitch, then Charles Stross is worth a go. I love his Lovecraftian world

There is a good amateur work called the choice of magic, self published on Amazon which is good. Only 2 out of the three out but it's well done and cheap!

Final book of the trilogy due out fairly soon Is it actually or is that just a vicious rumour to punish rothfuss fans? (I'm pretty fed up of waiting now)

Uprooted by Naomi Novik - I loved it and remarkably cliche-free unlike most other fantasy novels

Stardust by Neil Gaiman was a surprise hit for me, I bought it by mistake on Kindle, started reading it and fell in love with it.

DH recommends a series which I think in English is The Legend of the Ice People (Saga o Ludziach Lodu in Polish but iirc it's not a Polish series, I think it's Swedish?). He says there are 40+ books and he was obsessed with them for a period in his teens.
