No, but I'm not reading them because a) I can't keep up, they're too long, and b) everyone seems to have really complex intelligent articulate theories...I just read 'em for fun

And c) just in case they're right, I want it all to be a surprise!!

Miaou · 12/07/2007 14:08

Me too

Oh dammit, I started saying "no" then just agreed with you....I meant yes, but also...I mean...oh arse I need to sleep....

MamaGryffindor · 13/07/2007 08:39

Your first post made more sense

Slubberdegullion · 13/07/2007 08:42

I'm with you. My finger hovers over the HP thread titles in active convos.....and then ....no pull it away, resist the temptation!.

BandofMuggles · 13/07/2007 08:47

But even if we are right you wont know til you read the book so it will still be a surprise, surely you've already considered all the things we've discussed on the threads.
I find they have really raised my anticipation and excitement about the new book.

MamaGryffindor · 13/07/2007 08:54

I don't know, I haven't read the threads! I know I'd feel pissed off if something happens and I'll remember "oh, BOM said that"

BandofMuggles · 13/07/2007 08:55

Really, I'd be preening and strutting around saying "I WAS RIGHT"

MrsWeasley · 13/07/2007 08:58

I'll be so engrossed in the books I wont remember anyones theories anyway until BOM says "I told you so"

BandofMuggles · 13/07/2007 08:59

Wonder who will be right???

MamaGryffindor · 13/07/2007 10:21

lol

MamaGryffindor · 13/07/2007 10:22

ok here's my theory

Harry will decide he's trapped in the wrong body and will turn into Harriet

he'll marry HAgrid and adopt Neville

no I m not reading them because I just want to read the book I dont want any snippets of what its about

MadEyemarthamooDy · 13/07/2007 10:28

No, I'm not reading them either.

And there had better not be any spoilers in thread TITLES once the book comes out (I'm a fast reader but woe betide anyone who tells me the end before I get there!)

BandofMuggles · 13/07/2007 10:39

I am not coming on the internet at all, or turning on the telly til I've finished it.
All spare time must be devoted to reading anyway.

BandofMuggles · 13/07/2007 10:39

Martha, love the name

MamaGryffindor · 13/07/2007 10:40

oh yes marthamoo, they'll feel the sharp edge of my, um, typing if they do

BandofMuggles · 13/07/2007 10:41

MaureenMcGonagall · 13/07/2007 10:45

I'm not reading them either. Mainly because my brain lacks the ability to retain most information, so I can only remember roughly what happens! I'd just make a complete tit of myself and say something stupid!

GryffindorGHOSTY · 13/07/2007 10:50

I am keeping away too ... looked in on the HP name change thread but that is all

DANCESwithDumbledore · 13/07/2007 17:15

I'm joining you HwNfd - blardy annoying, I love, love, love the books and off to see the film tonight but I don't want to hear anymore theories, esp. the he's going to die ones.

PAH.

please dont let that stop you

honestly, I change my theory every day anyway depending on which book or interview I've just seen/read

MamaGryffindor · 14/07/2007 23:04

When Mo said that, I bit my tongue so I didn't say "whats new?"

oops
