Please recommend me a mind blowing crime thriller

I love crime thriller but I feel like every one I've read recently has been a let down.

I need something that is gripping and keeps me on the end of my seat.

If anyone has any suggestions that would be great!

'The Eyes of Darkness' by Dean Koontz is one that I recently re-read after reading it years ago.

The Wych Elm by Tana French has just been released and is a thrilling and well written thriller set in Ireland- love this author!
