A book that will make me laugh/break from reality!

Today has been the worst day. Please recommend me a book that is funny and light hearted. I have just looked in my to read pile and they are all heavy psychological thrillers. Thanks!

I just got Diary of a Nobody, but haven't read it yet.
I'm a little surprised the book was written in 1910. i just thought by the name that it would be a lot more modern.

The main character in Diary is like a Victorian David Brent, he has no idea how funny his diary entries are! It never seems to date.

Another vote for the tent, the bucket and me - so very funny and easy to dip in and out of if your attention span is low (mine always is when I'm having a rough time, at those times I just need light & easy!).

I've read it twice now and it's on the shelf for future reads and I rarely read a book twice!
