Inspired by a thread on here yesterday (if you saw it, you'll know exactly which one I mean), I'm feeling the urge to read about fantasists ~ any suggestions? Googling 'novels about fantasists' and 'delusional disorder' haven't been very fruitful Sad [paragraph return not working grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr] So, anyone read anything that might fit the bill and that they'd recommend?

A lot of Ruth Rendell's novels feature fantasists and unreliable narrators but can't recall any titles. I second 'The Collector' an excellent novel and a compelling story, I've never read 'Billy Liar' but agree that the film is well worth watching.

CramptonHodnet oh yes sorry! I was thinking you meant she was an unreliable narrator, something like that. Apologies.
